Palak Kapadia is a writer who moonlights as a sleep-deprived writer. She's constantly fascinated by how words can create worlds. Her love affair with words brought her to New York City where she is a Copywriter with Amazon Brand Innovation Lab. Her work has been internationally awarded by Cannes Lions, The One Show, ADC, D&AD, Clio, The Drum, Ad Stars, Graphis, and more. It has also been published in 4 books by Penguin and Harper Collins. In the past, Kapadia has worked with the talented folks at YouTube Creative Studio, Wieden+Kennedy, Droga5, VMLY&R, Ogilvy, Terribly Tiny Tales and MullenLowe Lintas in New York, Mumbai and New Delhi. She also is a Teacher with The Workshop and helps aspiring creatives from non-traditional backgrounds break into the industry. She has been a part of the RARE Leadership Accelerator with Google in 2020 and ranked at #4 by The One Club Young Ones’ creative rankings in 2021. She was a Pitch Superperson in 2022, has been featured in Adweek as someone whose work “redefines the concept of cool,” and has been named a Rising Star of Brand Marketing by Business Insider.

Alyssa Smith is a content creator, curator, and convention founder. Currently, she serves as director of conferences at Ragan Communications where she recruits speakers for the full array of events, including the signature CommsWeek and Future of Communications Conference. Previously, she was the editorial director of an e-commerce startup, the founder of the New York-based special-effects event CONstruct, a senior editor at Time Inc. (now Dotdash Meredith) and the editor at Hearst Books. For the last two decades, she edited and written under multiple brands and on various platforms, including trade books, digital media, and newsstand products. In 2014, she founded the print Entertainment Weekly specials program, and produced nearly 100 issues over seven years, where she negotiated access to and interviewed high-profile talent... and spent a lot of her time on cover copy. She has written and edited for Rolling Stone, National Geographic, Cosmopolitan, People, Popular Mechanics, Country Living, the History Channel, LIFE magazine, Time, Veranda, House Beautiful, and many others.
