Change is inevitable, but effectively managing it remains a significant challenge for many organizations. In this interactive tabletop session, participants will engage in real-world scenarios to explore the complexities of change management. You’ll work in teams to develop strategies to navigate change, overcome resistance, and lead your teams successfully through transitions.
- Strategy Development: Learn to create plan tailored to your organization's needs, starting with assessing organizational readiness, setting clear, measurable goals aligned with the organizational vision; resource planning around budget, personnel, and tech; timelines with milestones and deliverables; and a thorough risk assessment.
- Effective Communication: Learn how to tailor your messaging to meet the needs of various groups, from managers to execs to staff; choose the most effective mediums (meetings, emails, intranet, social media); and how to establish channels for receiving and addressing questions and concerns.
- Real-World Case Studies: Examine real-life examples involving mergers, restructuring, technological adoption, or cultural shifts. We’ll share examples of success stories and those that needed a strategy shift halfway through.
- Let’s Get Interactive: Apply these principles in real time as you work with peers to revamp a problematic change management strategy, with group critique and refinement. You’ll tackle a challenging change scenario, identify flaws in the existing approach and develop improved strategies, and then present your group's plan.
