Often brought on by an outside driving force such as competition, new regulations or a pandemic, change has truly become an inherent and integral part of organizational life. These changes are also coming faster with greater scale and complexity, leading many to question the usefulness of strategic planning.
The future may no longer be reasonably predictable and the pace of change may continue to rise, but strategic plans are far from dead. As a communicator, it’s your job to strike the right balance of strategy and adaptability to help engage employees and create alignment, moving the organization forward at a faster pace.
