George Haj is founder and president of Haj Media, a Miami-based strategic communications firm specializing in media strategy, crisis communications and messaging for law firms, corporate clients and nonprofits. He has worked extensively with some of the nation’s largest law firms and has written and spoken extensively on crisis communications and how companies of all sizes can navigate a fast-moving media environment. Prior to starting Haj Media in 2017, George worked in some of the nation’s largest news organizations; he has deep roots and connections with reporters and editors in a range of publications across the country. A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, George worked as state editor and executive business editor at The Miami Herald, deputy managing editor at the Houston Chronicle and served as editorial director at ALM Media, where he led a global newsroom of more than 100 journalists and iconic brands including The American Lawyer.
