Adam Kiefaber is Head of Thought Leadership & Strategy at Global Payments, a $23B Fortune 500 and S&P 500 payment technology company that powers trillions of dollars in payments volume and billions of transactions across more than 175 countries. He leads a team responsible for content strategy and editorial standards, signature research programs, client advocacy and executive thought leadership designed to strengthen reputation, support growth and position the company as a trusted voice on the future of commerce and payments.
Kiefaber has a front-row seat to one of the biggest shifts now reshaping retail and payments: agentic commerce, as AI agents increasingly research, compare and transact on behalf of consumers and businesses. His work helps translate emerging developments in AI, payments and consumer behavior into research, executive platforms and stories that business leaders can understand and act on. Global Payments and Worldpay are actively developing research and infrastructure around agentic commerce, including how merchants prepare for AI-driven shopping, payments, authentication and trust. Kiefaber is also a member of the Agentic AI Foundation, the Linux Foundation-backed community advancing open standards and infrastructure for agentic AI. The foundation includes organizations such as AWS, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft and OpenAI.
Before moving into marketing and communications, Kiefaber spent nearly a decade as a journalist with The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Cincinnati Post and CNN. He brings that editorial mindset to complex technology and business topics, helping executives turn expertise into accessible, credible stories. He also serves on the PR Daily Advisory Board, coaches youth basketball and is a graduate of Ohio University.
