Microsoft is a member of Ragan’s Communications Leadership Council. Jen Crum leads global marketing and communications for all HR programs involving benefits, compensation, and performance and development at Microsoft. Jen also serves at the comms director for the Mental Health Working Group at the company, a group that oversees the strategy and implementation of how Microsoft cares and nurtures mental and emotional Wellbeing for their employees. She previously led marketing for talent recruiting and AI innovation at the company. Jen is a believer in fostering talent via the Strength Finder methodology. When time allows, Jen co-teaches a branding/marketing classes at Colorado University Boulder, (CU) and is also a member of the CMCI advisory board at CU.

Amy has been charting her career across the marketing and branding spectrum for more than 15 years: from creative and design to retail marketing, from social media and talent brand to employee communications. At the heart of it all, Amy is passionate about bringing together business strategy, data and insights and human experiences to tell great stories. She currently applies this passion at Microsoft, leading strategies to engage, attract and retain employee talent and deepen brand love through Employee Comms and Employer Branding. Amy believes in creating a positive work environment and fostering a sense of community with her teammates and stakeholders—we spend a lot of time at work and should enjoy it! Originally from the Midwest, Amy holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and is now exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer while residing in Seattle with her husband Eddie, daughter Annette and dog Luna. You’ll often find Amy and her family outdoors (regardless of the weather!) camping, hiking, kayaking—celebrating all that this region has to offer.
