Tara Darrow (@tedarrow) is the public affairs and corporate social responsibility director at fashion specialty retailer Nordstrom. She heads a team that manages issues, reputation, crisis communications and corporate social responsibility. Tara worked in similar PR jobs at corporations, labor unions and nonprofits, including Starbucks, Plum Creek Timber, the Air Line Pilots Association and the American Red Cross. Tara is a graduate of the University of Portland, the mother of two girls and a well-loved golden retriever, and the wife of a civil engineer. In her spare time, she gives back to the community and looks for every opportunity to lend a helping hand.
