As Kimpton Hotels' Senior Vice President of Inspiration and Creativity, Steve Pinetti channels the spirit of Bill Kimpton's philosophy and boosts employee growth and morale through regular in-person road shows, training and workshops across the country. Before joining Kimpton as Director of Sales for their first hotel, Steve began his career with Hilton and Hyatt where he held positions in hotel sales and marketing. Steve has led the planning and openings of more than 50 hotels and restaurants throughout the country and has worked as an independent consultant in hotel management and marketing. Steve teaches sales, marketing, operations and management in the hospitality programs at the University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, San Francisco City College and Golden Gate University. He has also participated in branding classes in executive management programs at Stanford and U.C. Berkeley.
