Lynn Douglass is a writer, journalist and former course associate at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies. A multimedia storyteller with roots in strategic communication, her career highlights include reporting for top-tier publications like Forbes, The Observer, Avenue Magazine and Condé Nast. She has a BA in Creative Writing from Hamilton College and a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Columbia University. She recently co-taught communication courses at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies, helping to cover subjects ranging from persuasion theory to storytelling. She then channeled her expertise as the subject of an award-winning digital ad campaign by The Bloc, in which she told the story of her father’s dementia. Her stories also live in the content she creates like a communication boot camp she recently developed and launched for a leading client. She's a member of a by-invitation secret literary society and an advocate of cold-water-dipping.
