EVP, Employee Experience Group Head
Julia Christenson is the Executive Vice President, Washington, D.C. Employee Experience (EE) Group Head at Edelman. She has 15 years of experience helping clients design and activate compelling employee engagement programs for global transformations aimed at driving stability, engagement and connection. She has deep subject matter experience in strategic communications including reputational management, change management, operational communications, and leadership engagement. Her client roster includes Airbnb, Rocket Mortgage, Merck, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AbbVie, Henry Ford Health Systems, Wayne State University, Kindred, McGraw Hill and Prudential. Through her work, Julia has developed many leading employee experience capabilities including employee sentiment dashboards, manager trainings, go-to-market message plans, and culture roadmaps. Prior to Edelman, she was a leader in the People Advisory Services practice at EY where she helped to lead their M&A Communications and Change practice. Prior to EY, she worked at IBM in organizational change management in managing the IBM Innovation Jams / employee crowdsourcing social media events.
