Alison Knowlton wants to live in a world where kids get the education they deserve, great stories are told, laughter is abundant, and people pay attention to each other.After graduating from DePauw University, Alison taught for Teach for America in Atlanta for four years. She then studied graphic design at SCAD-Atlanta and worked as a graphic designer at a theatre company. She joined Teach For America full-time in 2010 and is now the director of staff engagement, which calls upon her love for organization, communication, storytelling, and making things beautiful. Outside of work, she's searching for deals at thrift stores, attending/producing/stage managing plays, and generally hatching plans. @lilacsonyork
