As vice president of communications strategy at Microsoft, Steve leads a global team with responsibility for all of Microsoft’s communications. This work is on the front lines of some of the most complex and diverse issues at the intersection of technology, public policy and corporate reputation such as privacy, cybersecurity, environmental sustainability, human rights, accessibility and corporate social responsibility. Steve works directly with Microsoft's executive management and senior leaders on these topics along with top-tier reporters and influencers. Prior to this, Steve was Microsoft’s Chief storyteller where he helped shape the company’s image and drove internal culture change through creative storytelling. He also led PR and keynote demos for Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella. Steve has worked at Microsoft since 1997, always with a passion for technology and its impact on the world.
