Marni Zapakin is a Vice President, Group Manager with Ketchum Analytics, supporting a number of diverse clients across the Ketchum network, including 3M, Cleveland Clinic, Anthem, and Eli Lilly. She has particular expertise in the health and wellness space and a strong background in global quantitative research, particularly involving corporate reputation management, thought leadership and employee engagement research. Marni has been with Ketchum for about six years. Prior to joining, she spent three years at Edelman Public Relation’s research arm, known as Edelman Berland, supporting the agency’s global Intellectual Property (IP) studies, including the Edelman Trust Barometer and goodpurpose. Marni also has experience in healthcare public relations, which she gained working at GCI Health, Cohn & Wolfe’s boutique healthcare agency. Her clients included a range of pharmaceutical companies focusing specifically on cardiovascular, pediatric and oncology medications and vaccines. During this time, Marni secured an understanding for media relations and campaign development and evaluation. Marni was awarded AMEC’s Young Professional of the Year by the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communications (AMEC) in 2016. Marni received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2009 from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Public Relations and the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs in Policy Studies. She graduated Summa Cum Laude.
