Keisha-Gaye Anderson, MFA, is the former senior director of marketing and communications at The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. For over a decade, she has held leadership positions in higher education communications and marketing overseeing web content, video production, flagship publications, social media, executive communications and PR. The author of four poetry collections, she has published creative writing in a number of anthologies and literary magazines, including Kweli, Killens Review of Arts and Letters, Adirondack Review, African Voices Magazine, Mosaic Literary Magazine, The Caribbean Writer and many others. Her journalistic work includes documentary production for CBS and PBS.
