Kristina Goel is the director of employee communications and engagement at American Medical Association. A career communications strategist who has developed, implemented and evaluated successful communications solutions on behalf of corporations, government agencies and associations, she has rebuilt AMA's employee communications strategy and re-imagined all supporting channels, including a new digital workspace. Results of these changes have surpassed all six KPIs, from internal email reduction to increased employee engagement. AMA’s new intranet was recently awarded one of Neilson’s “top 10 intranets in the world” in 2018. Goel is a leader with the experience to drive increased reputational relevance and a skilled manager of both people and projects. She has won many communications awards, including recognition for the AMA’s 2017 employee engagement program; an ACE Award in 2014 for leading the “best in-house communications team” in the U.S.; and a 2011 CLIO Healthcare award for social media. She is an excellent editor and writer who can eloquently distill complex concepts into key insights, serves as a trusted advisor, and excels in the role of coach for leaders and colleagues.
