Jose Salas is Spokesperson and Social Media Manager for Denver Water, where he oversees social media strategy, content creation and analytics, develops strategies that drive growth and engagement, and educates internal teams and leaders on social media best practices and brand guidelines to establish a consistent brand voice online.  Salas also plans and executes rapid response for crises and breaking stories, and helps the organization inform and educate the public through social media outreach, interviews and media coverage coordination, and news site story development. Prior to joining Denver Water, Salas worked in the nonprofit sector managing social media accounts, marketing and day-to-day operations for two trade associations.
