Alison Pase is vice president of internal communications for Cengage Learning, a global ed-tech company in Boston. She leads internal and executive communications for the $1.7 billion, 5,000-employee enterprise, focusing on business results and cultural change. She joined Cengage in editorial and product acquisition. She founded and built internal communications, installing new executive and peer-to-peer platforms. This included communications strategy and execution for mergers and acquisitions, Chapter 11, and cultural reinvention—and "news you can use" to get leaders and employees working together. Alison is a graduate of Syracuse University with B.A.'s in magazine journalism and French, as well as an M.A. in French language, literature and linguistics.
