Adam Pratt is the Director of Issues & Policy Communications at IBM, where he is responsible for leading communications to advance the company’s global advocacy agenda as well as its approach to situations that impact IBM’s globally-known and respected brand. He led the conceptualization and launch of the IBM Policy Lab, a unique thought leadership initiative intended to refocus policy makers’ energy and attention on critical technology-related issues impacting our society. His work on crisis communications spans the full scope of issues linked to the 24/7 operations of a company that does business in more than 170 countries, from workforce and client-related matters to evolving stakeholder expectations for corporate engagement in policy and political debates. In 2020, Adam was named to PR Week’s 40 Under 40 list of professionals driving the future of the PR and communications industry. His past work included experience in the telecommunications, transportation and energy industries. He and his family reside just outside Washington, D.C.
