Emily Inverso is the Head of Content and Communication Strategy at Axios HQ, an internal communication platform that was launched by DC-based news company Axios and then spun out as a high-growth tech startup. Emily leads a team of editors and consultants who help HQ’s customers audit and improve their communication strategy, understand and apply Smart Brevity® to make updates more engaging, and increase reader engagement. She also leads a team of content, event, and design marketers. Before Axios, Emily led brand and content strategy at AngelList Talent, and she spent five-plus years at Forbes leading various newsroom, product, and business teams.
