Jeff Schmitz is the Chief Human Resources and Marketing Officer at Zebra Technologies. He is responsible for enabling Zebra Technologies' success by attracting and retaining top talent, and establishing Zebra Technologies as an employer of choice globally. Schmitz oversees traditional HR functions, including Zebra Technologies' Inclusion & Diversity program, next-generation leadership development, and employer brand, among other competitive people-drive programs that build Zebra Technologies' world-class workforce and culture. He has served in executive leadership positions for more than 25 years, including at Spirent Communications, Visual Networks and Tellabs, and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer science from Marquette University and a master’s degree in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He speaks regularly about the importance of elevating employee experiences to remain competitive.
