Presenter bio: 

 Renee Robinson, APR, is director of corporate communications at Ball Corporation, a global packaging and aerospace organization with more than 18,000 employees around the world. In this role, she oversees internal and external communications programs. Robinson's previous experience includes corporate communications and PR agency roles in the packaging, energy, employee benefits, finance and construction industries. She is president of the Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and a member of PRSA's Corporate Communications and Employee Communications sections. Robinson holds an M.A. in mass communications and media management and B.A. degrees in English and journalism and broadcasting from Oklahoma State University.

 Barb Farson is corporate communications manager for Ball Corporation. She manages content for corporate internal channels, including internal web, electronic and print newsletters and visual communications networks, and she executes communication programs that support Ball's unique culture. She is the editor of an award-winning special edition employee newsletter which was part of Ball's "The Power of Day One" campaign to onboard and integrate new employees following a major acquisition. Previously, Farson worked in various internal and external communications capacities in the utility, nonprofit and broadcast industries.

 

Luiz Goncalves is corporate communications manager at Ball Corporation. He manages content for internal and external communication channels, including global communication campaigns and events that support Ball's unique culture. Goncalves led the South America communication efforts of a major acquisition for Ball and recently moved to the U.S. to integrate the global communications team. He has nearly 10 years of experience in corporate communications in the manufacturing sector.

Tia Mason Howard, APR, is internal communications director for MedStar Medical Group. She manages internal communications, executive communications and collaborative employee engagement initiatives. She‘s worked in media relations, internal communications, health communications, marketing and issues management for health care, nonprofit and technology organizations. Before MedStar, she did communications leadership work for Leidos, a national security, engineering and health organization. A former communications director for Erickson Living (a continuing care retirement community) and for the American Cancer Society, she managed marketing for public health campaigns, advocacy and fundraising initiatives. Howard has an M.S. in health communications from Boston University and a B.A. in broadcast journalism from James Madison University. @TiaMHoward

Shel Holtz is principal of Holtz Communication + Technology and a Ragan Consulting Group affiliate. He is a prolific blogger and a pioneer podcaster. He has written six communication-themed books and countless articles for magazines and journals.
