Presenter bio: 

Randy Krum is an infographics and data visualization designer, author of the book “Cool Infographics: Effective Communication with Data Visualization and Design,” founder and president of the design firm InfoNewt and instructor of data visualization and infographics design at Southern Methodist University. He also runs the popular website and blog Coolinfographics.com, where he has shared more than 2,000 of the world’s best infographics designs. His passion is helping people better understand and communicate information using data visualizations, visual explanations and infographics.

Tamara Young is the manager of corporate communications and a spokesperson for JetBlue Airways. She develops and manages communications campaigns and strategies supporting JetBlue’s mission of Inspiring Humanity. She focuses on the airline’s CSR, sustainability and loyalty platforms as well as brand marketing initiatives. She also supports JetBlue’s crisis communications. Prior to JetBlue, she worked at UniWorld Group where she managed multicultural and general communications programs and strategies for clients including The Home Depot, Johnson Products Company, Metropolitan College of New York, Colgate and CVS. She also held roles at Dan Klores Communications, Time Warner Cable and Formula PR.

Irma Arizmendi is responsible for managing corporate philanthropy programs for JetBlue Airways. This includes building strategic partnerships with the non-profits and for-profit sector, supporting employee volunteer engagement, creating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education focused programming initiatives, as well as managing foundation and corporate grant-making programs. She was responsible for launching the JetBlue Foundation in 2013 and serves on the board of directors. With more than 32 awards for her work in CSR (including an Emmy and Peabody Award), she has a demonstrated ability in developing strategic connections with non-profits, government agencies and community-based organizations to create effective alliances.
