Presenter bio: 

Bob Burns is the social media lead and national social media spokesperson at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). He joined the TSA’s public affairs team in 2008 to manage the TSA blog. His posts contain the perfect mix of fact and funny—artfully conveying important information in an entertaining fashion. He won a PRSA Bronze Anvil in 2010 and the TSA Instagram account he manages was recently named by Rolling Stone the fourth-best account to follow. He was named the TSA Employee of the Year for 2017 and earned his agency three Webby Awards. @TSAMediaBob

Brian Malone is a video trainer with Ragan Consulting Group and CEO of Chicago-based Malone Media, a video production and webcast service provider serving customers worldwide. From 2011–17, he was vice president of virtual events at Ragan Communications, where he launched and ran live event webcasts, webinars and the company’s video training websites, PR University and Ragan Training. He has worked with companies to produce videos and live webcast events, including Facebook, Southwest Airlines, Microsoft, Salesforce, GoDaddy, McDonald’s and LinkedIn.

Kristina Libby is a professor at New York University and the University of Florida. She’s a co-founder of SoCu and of Lom. She leads a four-semester social media practicum in the School of Journalism at UF and a master’s level digital marketing core course at NYU. Previously, she led consumer PR at Microsoft and ran a social media agency in New York City. She’s also the author of “You Don’t Need Social Media, Unless You Are Doing It Right.”

Carlos Gil, founder of Gil Media, is a first-generation Latino marketing executive and an award-winning Snapchat storyteller with more than a decade of experience leading social media strategy for LinkedIn, BMC Software and others. He’s the moderator and founder of the 9,550-member Social Media Masterminds Group on Facebook, has delivered keynotes globally and has presented at such marketing events as SXSW and Social Media Marketing World. He led social media programs for Super Bowl XLVII, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, Tostitos, Mondelez and Unilever, worked as social media manager for Winn-Dixie and served as head of digital marketing for Save-A-Lot, a subsidiary of SUPERVALU INC., a Fortune 100 organization.
